Job van Uitert continues with IDEC Sport for the 2025 ELMS Season

We are thrilled to share that Job van Uitert will continue racing with IDEC Sport in the 2025 European Le Mans Series (ELMS). After a strong season with the French squad, Job is set to return for another year in LMP2, alongside teammates Paul-Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue.

Job and IDEC Sport Continue Their Journey

For Job van Uitert, staying with IDEC Sport was an easy decision:

"It was a no-brainer for me to stay with the team," says Job. "I’m incredibly happy to be back with IDEC Sport—this team really feels like a second home to me. The atmosphere, the professionalism, and the way we work together make this the perfect place for me to race."

After an impressive 2024 season, Job will once again push for top results in the highly competitive LMP2 class, bringing his speed, consistency, and technical expertise to the team’s championship campaign. The 2024 edition held an overall pole position for Job, but the team was unlucky at several instances, and they only secured one podium. They will be back for more this year.

Le Mans 2025? The Decision is Coming Soon

While Job’s ELMS seat is secured, his participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025 is still undecided.

"We’ll know in February when the Le Mans entries are confirmed," says Job. "IDEC Sport has applied for a second entry, but it’s never a guarantee. The Genesis-backed car has priority, so I’ll have to wait and see if a second IDEC Sport entry is granted."

With Le Mans being the ultimate endurance race, Job is ready and hopeful for another opportunity to compete at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe.

A Strong Lineup for 2025

Job’s return to IDEC Sport means he will once again team up with Paul-Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue, forming one of the most well-balanced and competitive LMP2 lineups in ELMS.

His teammates are full of praise for the Dutch driver:

Paul-Loup Chatin: "Besides his speed, Job brings incredible teamwork and the right mindset. With our lineup, we have everything in place for a strong season—now it’s up to us to deliver results."

Paul Lafargue: "I’m really happy to be racing with Job again. We understand each other well, both in car setup and in how we work together. He’s always focused on improving the team, and that makes a big difference."
